Depending on season, route count, internal scheduling and Amazon's daily route allocation, shifts are assigned flexibly day-to-day. We try to keep a steady schedule, but you may be assigned to different shifts on different days. Here are the shift types we operate.

10 · Accommodation●

A bed near the station,
with our help.

xLiefer does not provide accommodation directly, but we work closely with trusted local agents to find beds for our drivers. Moving for work is easier when someone knows the area.

Places are limited

If we have no free beds and you have no accommodation or way to travel, we may not be able to take your application this time.

Up to 45 min away

Some accommodation is up to a 45-minute drive from the station, so plan how you will get to work.

Agents handle payment

We do not take payments or set prices. You agree and pay directly with the agent.

Your own place is welcome

In line with our modern slavery policy, we encourage you to arrange your own accommodation and travel if you can.

A friendly tip: keep your rent payments regular and on time. It keeps things smooth with the property and helps you avoid legal trouble.

questions.

Everything you need to know about working as a delivery driver — straight, no jargon.

  • How often do I get paid?

    Monthly, no later than the 15th calendar day of the following month.

  • Do I receive a uniform and safety shoes?

    Every driver receives a branded uniform. You provide your own safety shoes.

  • What if I have an accident with the van?

    Follow SIPA — STOP, INFORM, POLICE, ANALYSE. Stop safely, inform dispatch, contact police if required.

  • Can I take unpaid leave?

    Yes, depending on availability and operational needs. Submit requests in advance.

  • What documents do I need on day one?

    EU/EEA driver's license (min 6 months), proof of address in Germany, right-to-work proof, bank details, tax and social insurance numbers.

  • What happens if I damage the van?

    All vans are insured. Report damage immediately to dispatch. Reviewed under our LEO procedure.

  • What if the app or phone fails?

    Contact dispatch right away. Backup devices and support keep deliveries going.

  • What about a dog attack?

    Don't approach the dog. Follow training safety guidelines and contact dispatch if you cannot deliver.

  • Can I take someone in the van?

    No. For safety, insurance, and compliance, only XLiefer employees are allowed.

  • Can I get a permanent contract?

    Yes. Many drivers move from seasonal to permanent — based on attendance, safety, performance, reliability.

  • What contract types do you offer?

    Full-time, part-time, and minijob contracts.
